AKA-SIZER (TAK) | Upstream Classifiers

Sharp Classification

AKA-SIZER upstream classifiers are used to produce products with sharp cut sizes within the range of 0.1 to 0.8 mm.

Principle of Operation

An optimum distribution of upstream water from the bottom via a self closing nozzle plate, results in a homogeneous and undisturbed teeter bed enabling a precise separation. By varying the water flow, different cut sizes can be achieved. A specially designed discharge regulation system controlled by the density of the fluidized bed, ensures a uniform cut size even in case of fluctuations of the feed conditions (grain size, concentration, capacity).

Key Benefits

Central feeding for effective distribution into the tank

No dead zone above the specially designed discharge valves (electrically actuated)

Adjustable and sensitive density sensor
