Producing several cut sizes in one equipment
AKA-MULTISIZER is a horizontal up-current classifier that is used to produce several fractions of a mineral feedstock.
By adding upstream water, the sand is transferred from the first chamber up to the last one. Due to the specific design the surface of the chambers are increasing from chamber 1 to 9 and the separation will get finer accordingly. By flowing through the individual chambers, solids form a fluid bed which is not transferred by the upstream water to the next chamber. The coarse product is discharged from the individual chambers by automatically controlled valves, whereas the fine products are floated to the next chamber.
Backmixing discharges for production of all commonly-required foundry sand fractions
